It measures elapsed time up to 12 hours in 1/8-second increments using a column wheel and vertical clutch for smooth operation and minimal wear. The black dial displays "Speedtimer" with a tachymeter scale, contrasting subdials, date window, and LumiBrite hands for low-light visibility.
